Terms of service
By using Inko you agree to these terms. They're written to be read.
Your content
You own the documents you scan, upload and sign. You give us permission to store, process and display them only as needed to run Inko for you, for example to make a PDF, show a share link or seal a signed document. You are responsible for having the right to scan and share what you upload.
Acceptable use
- Don't use Inko for anything illegal, fraudulent or harmful.
- Don't sign on someone else's behalf or impersonate anyone.
- Don't share malware or content you have no right to share.
- Don't try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
Electronic signatures
Signatures made with Inko are electronic signatures. Each signer must agree to sign electronically before signing. We record a tamper-evident audit trail and seal the completed document, but whether a particular signature is legally valid for a particular purpose depends on the law where you are and on the kind of document. Some documents, such as wills or certain property deeds, may legally require a handwritten or qualified signature. You are responsible for choosing a suitable method.
Premium
Premium is a subscription billed through Google Play. It renews automatically until you cancel in Google Play. A free trial, when offered, turns into a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends. Refunds follow Google Play's policies. If Premium ends, documents already in the cloud stay available, but you can't add more once you're over the free storage limit.
Free limits
The free plan includes 600 MB of cloud storage and 10 signature requests. Scans kept on your phone are unlimited. We may change these limits with notice, but never in a way that removes documents you already have.
Availability
We work hard to keep Inko running and your documents safe, but the service is provided "as is", without warranties. Keep your own copies of important documents. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending
You can stop using Inko and delete your account at any time. We may end the service with reasonable notice so you can export your documents.
Changes
We'll update these terms when the service changes and change the date above. If you keep using Inko after a change, you accept the new terms.
